A demountable ball valve designed to take solvent weld pressure pipe with a 40mm, or 1 1/2" internal diameter.
A ball valve designed for stopping, or reducing water flow through a 40mm, or 1 1/2" solvent weld pipe. The advantage of using this type of valve over other types is, once they are solvent welded into place the valve can be closed stopping water flow completely. The demountable couplings either side can then be undone alowing sections of pipework to be removed, or in most cases equipment such as pumps, uv's, filters etc. Use of these valves can save you alot of hassle when servicing such equipment, or if said equipment fails. Please note this valve is designed to take pressure pipe, which has a thicker wall than is required on most installations. A reducing bush is required, in both sides of the valve, if standard solvent weld waste pipe is used.
